The second there is a bit of sun in the UK, it becomes a golden opportunity to try and enjoy it… while it lasts that is. Towards the end of last week, the weather seemed to be changing for the better! The sun was beaming, yes there was still a bit of a chill but comparing it to other days it was far better. It’s the weather that one can enjoy eating their lunch outside or in my case venture out to use the opportunity to use the uplifting sunshine to take some photos! Oh yeah also have my natural hair out at the moment, which I am really enjoying! Allowing my hair to breathe and enjoy some new natural hair styles!
In my previous post I spoke about feeling uninspired and stuck for spring dressing. A trend I am loving is pastel colours, as I love colour and pastel colours can give you a lot to play around with. I also made a recent purchase with flared trousers. This is new trend which I have seen. Flared trousers, flared jeans you name it. So I’ve combined these two spring trends, with these super comfy ASOS wide flared jersey trousers with an old favourite in the way of this yellow pastel top from H&M which I’m sure you can find alternative too in current season!
These trousers are more on the wide side, but a great start if you are unsure about going in for the full flare right away. Tucked in this yellow top and pulling the whole look together with my latest investment I made with the Gucci belt. I absolutely love this belt and I feel like it completes the whole outfit which can be worn on the hip and waist. Footwear I went with the Vans Old Skool black and white. These ones come with a slightly thicker sole giving me that little extra height the trousers are trailing the ground.
Top – H&M
Trousers – ASOS (Tall)
Belt – Gucci
Shoes – Vans Old Skool
I will definitely be wearing these more in summer and spring. Let me know in the comments below if you will be joining this spring trends or what trend you are looking forward to the most! Enjoy! xxx
